Volevo ringraziarvi anche a nome di Giovanna ed Ileana per la bella serata che ci avete organizzato ieri.
Rèka ci ha sapientemente condotto in giro per l'hotel, che è davvero bello. Siamo tutte rimaste impressionate dall'arredo.
La sala ristorante, ma anche la hall con il pianoforte e la sala lettura con la stufa sono magnifiche.
La cena è stata buonissima ed il servizio impeccabile. Non sapevo che ci fosse Davide in cucina. Ci eravamo conosciuti molto velocemente in occasione del matrimonio a Budapest.
Insomma grandissimi complimenti a tutti!

Nel cuore delle Langhe, nel paese di Cortemilia, si trova questa piccola oasi di relax e buona cucina. Il sig. Carlo e la sua famiglia vi accoglieranno con estrema cortesia nella saletta interna con camino o, d'estate, nel giardino a ridosso della sequoia americana e della piscina riservata agli ospiti dell'annesso, confortevole, albergo. Poche le proposte della cucina, ma tutte prendenti spunto da quel che offre il territorio. Potrete quindi iniziare con la millefoglie di lingua con bagnetto piemontese o la fantasia di vitello Fassano langarolo; proseguire con gli gnocchi alla salvia o le tipiche Frizze Cortemiliesi alla fonduta; concludere con un aspic di Moscato alle pesche o un budino della nonna agli amaretti. Tutti i piatti sono presentati con cura e buon gusto (anche il caffè vi verrà servito insieme ad alcuni pasticcini e biscotti fatti in casa, a base soprattutto della più ricca risorsa della zona: le nocciole) e la qualità della cucina è superiore. Ampia e selezionata la lista dei vini.

We had a wonderful time in Italy and we all agree that our stay at the San Carlo was one of the highlights! I will also add, the Piemonte region was the most beautiful. Everything about our stay was memorable. The food and service were beyond compare. All the people we met at the various wineries were so warm and generous. (And we enjoyed the wine too!) We have proudly shared our hazelnuts with our friends when we tell them about Cortemilia. I will promote the San Carlo and the area whenever I get the chance!
If you come to Texas, we would love to have you visit with us. I can't say that the cuisine will be as spectacular, but we will do our best!

Your invitation sounds fantastic and we would really like to attend, but unfortunately we will be on holidays in Queenstown, New Zealand at that time. There will not be snow there at that time of the year, but the scenery is still great.
With any luck though, we hope to visit in September/October this year as we will be inspecting an equipment supplier near Alba.

Thank you for your lovely email. We had a fantastic trip, thank you, even managed to visit Hitler's Eagles Nest on the way to Austria. The total miles for the trip was 2400.
Your hotel is beautiful and the food wonderful, we had a vote for the best meal of the holiday and yours won! It is a shame we didn't manage to arrive earlier in the day and enjoy your lovely gardens and pool - maybe next time??
